CONTROL is Avalon’s hottest club night, celebrating its third year anniversary on March 2nd, 2012, with sets from Felguk, Tommy Trash, TJR, Bones, and more – presented in conjunction with the iconic global clubbing bible, Mixmag.  Over three insane years blending Nu-electro, Techno, Dubstep, Future Bass and House music, CONTROL has become LA’s must coveted dance party and introduced an entirely new legion of fans to dance music, blooding some of the freshest and most exciting DJs and producers every week.  

From Armand van Helden, James Murphy and Tiga, to Wolfgang Gartner and Simian Mobile Disco, from turn-table jocks like Klever and Craze to the dancehall thud of Major Lazer and dubstep pioneers Skrillex, Rusko and 12th Planet, CONTROL has built a reputation on a fearless commitment to those who are innovating and trendsetting across the electronic music spectrum. It is little wonder that CONTROL handed West Coast big room debuts to Skrillex, Rusko, Wolfgang Gartner, Felguk, Felix Cartal, Porter Robinson, Dada Life and many more.

Brazilian duo, Felguk, burst onto the scene in 2009 with a fresh-take on electro-house that catapulted them onto the world’s stage and directly into DJ Mag’s lauded 2011 Top 100 DJs poll. Formed in 2007, just two years later Madonna had personally called Felipe (Fel) and Gustavo (Guk) to ask for a remix, and they were playing to crowds of over 30,000 in Brazil. In 2010, US powerhouse promoter Insomniac used their smash ‘2nite’ as the theme song for the Electric Daisy Carnival, which shattered records with over 180,000 attendees. Further remixes for icons like David Guetta and Black Eyes Peas have followed, and the duo has continued to blitz the Beatport top 10 with their own original productions. In-studio their sonic palate continues to expand, as evidenced by their dubstep collaboration with UK bass master Example. While on-stage their live show has become a calling card complete with stage diving, deck-top dancing and an infectious energy that crowds around the world are eating up.

ARIA Award-nominated Tommy Trash is one of dance music’s rising stars. Since bursting onto the scene less than five years ago, Tommy has dominated charts and dance floors alike with over 45 originals and remixes, quickly establishing himself as one of Australia’s most talented and prolific artists. Now London-based, Tommy has his sights set firmly on world domination.
Tommy’s latest single, “The End”, was his most successful to date. A European summer anthem championed by international superstars Tiesto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack and Laidback Luke, “The End” put Tommy firmly in the international spotlight.
